Marcia’s award-winning newest book, Umbrella Town, was published in June, 2012, for ages 5 through 9 and for younger ages as a read-aloud. Click on Books at the left to find out more about Umbrella Town and the courageous little girl who brings about a dramatic change in the town.

Mystery at Jacob’s Well, Mystery at Saddlecreek, and The Backpack Cat are for ages 8 to 12.  Somebody Left the Door Open is a book of whimsical poems for children of all ages. Ladies of the Bomb Squad is a short adult novel about the antics and adventures of four best friends in a retirement home.

In addition to writing, Marcia’s interests include wood carving, quilting, playing the folk harp, building doll houses and miniature furnishings, and making jewelry.
